The Route 66 weekend gave The Caine Group Racing program another strong qualifying note, with Spencer Hyde placing fifth and posting a 3.930-second run at 329.26 mph.

Race day ended in the opening round, but the weekend still added useful data and another clear marker for where the program sits as the season moves toward Maryland.

The next stop is the NHRA Potomac Nationals presented by JEGS at Maryland International Raceway, where the team will look to turn qualifying speed into race-day round wins.

The speed is there. Now it is about taking what we learned and being sharper when eliminations start.
